Live to Love part 3

Everybody wants to live life to the fullest, right? Well... except for those time when all you're trying to do is get from the start of the day to the end of the day. Like at work sometimes I'll ask somebody, "How are you doing?" And they'll say, "I'm here." Sometimes that's the most you can do. Sometimes that's ALL you can do. In times like those it is important to remember that you don't have to be a superhero every second of every day. You don't always have to expect so much from yourself. Or let others expect so much from you. Sometimes just showing up is enough. Especially Spiritually speaking, where we know that God cares more about availiablity than ability. God wanted Moses to speak to Pharaoh. Moses said, "I s-s-stutter. I'm the w-w-wrong man for the job." God said, "No you're not. But I'm going to give you a mouthpiece anyway. Take Aaron with you." Problem solved. God shall supply all your need, according to His riches in glory. The key is to trust in Him. Dont try to live out of your own power. I can't get out of the bed with my own strength. Luckily for me, HIS strength is made perfect in my weakness. When I can't... that's when He will. When you work, God will rest. But when you rest, God will work. He doesn't force Himself on His people. He makes Himself available to His people. That's why Romans 10:13 says, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." It's about the afterlife. It's about being saved from whatever's plauging you right now. It's a "break glass in case of emergency." It's a Savior holding you up when everything else is trying to drag you down. It's LOVE holding you up. To live is to love and to love is to live. That's the secret of life. So when we're talking about those days that we feel like we're no good, or we just can't do anything right, or we might NOT make it from the start of the day to the end of the day... that's when God can really show up in a big way. Because those are the days we need Him--His love--the most. Now think about this: We know that God loves us. It is our duty to love Him back by loving each other. So when someone else is having "one of those days," instead of kicking them when they're down, or looking down on them in a judgmental way, what we need to do is help them up. Love them even harder. Give what we've got to an even greater degree. That's OUR time to shine. I believe God gives opportunities. And that doesn't mean He creates bad situations. Sometimes life is just life. I mean, when you know what you've got... and you see someone who needs what you've got... that's an opportunity for you to give what you've got. And when you give it, you experience it. When Jesus was hungry He sent His disciples to get food. Then He ministered to someone. Then the disciples returned... but Jesus wasn't hungry anymore. He said, " ...My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work" (John 4:34). Jesus was filled up by giving what He had inside. Letting it out so that someone else could have it. Sharing it. Sharing the good news. If you want to live... you have to love. It's that simple. And if you're having a bad day... love anyway. It just might turn your day around. It most certainly will turn someone else's day around!
