The Divine part 4

We are partakers of the divine nature through the knowledge of Christ. To me that means Jesus has prepared a table for us in the presence of our enemies, and He stands at the door and knocks... just waiting for us to let Him in so that we can sup with Him. To me that means the Spirit and the bride say come. And they don't say, "Come... or else!" They say, "Come and get it! It's here! It's available!" To me that means, "...It is done. I am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely" (Revelation 21:6). Look, I say this all the time: We have it all. We have been blessed with all Spiritual blessings in the heavenly Christ. We have been given all things that pertain to life and godliness. What we need to do is stop trying to get something we think we haven't got. What we need to do is stop looking at what we DON'T have and start focusing on what we DO have. Stop trying to be someone we're not and focus on finding out who we really are. By finding out who JESUS really is. Because, as He is so are we in this world. Because, He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. He is the truth about God, and the truth about us. The truth about God IN us! That's who Jesus is--God in the flesh, love in a body. And that's who WE are because He is God in OUR flesh, love in OUR body. Knowing and believing the truth is what makes it true for us. Receiving and releasing the gift of God is what allows us to experience and enjoy that gift. You know the old saying: You are what you eat. And if that applies in the natural you better believe it applies in the Spirit. Especially when you consider that when the Bible says, "God is love" the word "love" means "love feast." The table Jesus prepared for us--through the cross--is the six course meal of His death, burial, and resurrection. He was Crucified, Died, Buried, Quickened, Raised, and Seated (see my book, "Six Steps to the Throne"). And we were in Him when it happened. So WE were crucified. WE died. WE were buried. That was the end of the old man. Then, three days later, WE were quickened. WE were raised. And WE were seated. Again, as He is, so are we in this world. Who we are in Christ is who Christ is in us. But if all we ever do is feed on the lie that we are merely sinners (more or less, and apparently usually LESS) saved by grace... that's what's going to manifest in our lives. We ARE who we believe we are, according either to the world's (false) report, or the Word of (truth of) the Lord. I heard a preacher say it like this, "I am who my Daddy says I am." Bingo! That's it, man. That's what will free people from the bondage of sin (unbelief) and death. Feeding on the truth of our heavenly Father's love for us is what will satisfy our appetite. When we know we can go to the source, we WILL stop looking for love in all the wrong places. When we get on the correct diet of the bread from heaven (the body of Christ), and the wine (the blood of Christ)... when we partake of that living water and the lamb... that's when the transfomation (that already took place 2,000 years ago) works it's way out from the inside. When the root is holy, the lump is holy. When we know who we are we will BE who we are. Not by trying, but by letting it happen naturally. Which is the whole point. It's a divine NATURE. It's not just what we do. It's who we are!
